Two boys hit by car in Everett sent to hospital

 

EVERETT — Two boys were expected to survive after being struck by a car while riding what was described as an off-road motorcycle Monday in south Everett.

The boys were hit by a car about 7:30 p.m. in the 5800 block of 120th Street SE, east of Silver Lake, said Leslie Hynes, spokeswoman for Snohomish County Fire District 1.

Both boys were believed to be under 11 years old, Hynes said. One was taken to a Seattle hospital with serious injuries. The other was taken to a local hospital.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office was investigating. Additional details weren’t immediately available.
