DETROIT (WXYZ) – A Detroit police officer was rushed to the hospital after being hit by a car on Detroit’s west side.
Officers were investigating reports of a stolen vehicle when they stopped a woman. She refused to get out of a car and attempted to drive off.
One of the officers was hit. Sources say he suffered a broken leg.
It happened at Archdale and West Paul. The officer was rushed by EMS to Sinai Grace Hospital.
Officers were able to catch up with the woman who they arrested in a different location.
