State trooper injured in crash in Norfolk

NORFOLK — A State Police trooper was injured in a car crash Wednesday in town.

The trooper’s cruiser collided with another car on Route 115 early Wednesday morning, officials said.

The trooper, who didn’t work out of the local Foxboro barracks, was treated for minor injuries at an area hospital.

The driver of the other car was assessed by medical personnel at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

No further information was available Wednesday night.
